My best friend moved 15 minutes away from me recently after living an airplane away since college. She flew back from a work trip late last night and since her husband was already out of town she decided to spend the night with me instead of going to a vacant house late at night.

I waited up for her and when she got home we sat at my dinner table in our pajamas while she ate a late night dinner and we caught up. She was one of my roommates in college and since I got married right after graduation, I’ve never had an adult remote. It felt like a total sleepover and was what I imagined living with your bestie to be like. I am so thankful for her and our spontaneous sleepover.
