I have been rewatching Sweet Magnolias on Netflix since season three was just released. I loved the first two seasons and read the first couple books of the series. Unfortunately, the books did not live up to the TV show (backwards I know). The show can be a little cheesy and over the top, but I truly love it. In the books though, it was just cringey.

Before I dive into season three, I wanted to rewatch so that I could be fully engrossed in the town of Serenity and the Sweet Magnolias. I am reminded how much I love this show. And the decor! Gosh I love all of the homes and kitchens in this show. This article sources some of the decor that is used throughout the set. I am definitely one for a maximalist look, and all of the colors and patterns used go together so well. Taking design notes from the show for sure.

Last night Matt was watching the show with me and he fell asleep on the couch. I had already brought my pillow out on the couch earlier so I decided I might as well just fall asleep out there as well. There is something that feels so fun and juvenile about staying up to late and falling asleep on the couch. Matt got up and went to bed at some point in the night, but I slept great (albeit with a crick in my neck the next morning) all night.
