This robe might be one of my favorite things I own! In general, I have not been a big robe person, but when I was pregnant, I thought I might want one for postpartum. 

When I was in middle school, I read a book about a girl who received a long, peach-colored robe for her 16th birthday, and ever since I read that small detail, I’ve always wanted a robe like that. For a while, I looked around for something that met this criteria, but never really found it. Kind of like finding the perfect pair of jeans, I decided it wasn’t something I was going to look for, but rather something I would just come across one day. Enter the Lake Pajamas DreamKnit Midi Robe in Peony! I had never purchased anything from Lake Pajamas, but have heard incredible things. I decided to purchase this and I have never looked back!

This robe was everything I was looking for. The fabric is incredibly soft, I love the pleats at the top, and the robe tie is connected to the back of the robe, so it won’t go missing! I love how long this robe is. I am 5’2″, and when the rope is untied, it touches the floor. When I do have it tied, it is more ankle length. One of my favorite features is that the sleeves have a loose elastic around the wrist. This allows you to push the sleeves up your forearm and still wash the dishes and wash your hands! I hate long billowy sleeves at night because that is when you are typically trying to wash your face and do the final kitchen cleanup. This robe was so great during pregnancy and postpartum and I know it will be a favorite of mine for a long time. It is so good!

Unfortunately, they do not sell this color in this length anymore. They do have this gorgeous deep blue in the midi length and they sell the peony and this bright green in knee length.
