Matt and I’s offices are only about five minutes apart, but we almost never meet for lunch. I typically pack my lunch and eat with the office bestie and Matt either packs his lunch or gets something quick downtown.

Yesterday we were completely out of food to pack for lunch, so we knew we would need to pick something up. I joked around and asked if he wanted to meet me. I typically ask knowing that his response will be a no, because he has so much to do. But this time, he said yes! Wahoo! We met at a spot right between both of our offices called Zudar’s. Matt got a sandwich and I got Quiche Lorraine with a side salad. Oh, and a Coke because it’s my favorite, and some days you just need it.

I was so grateful that my mom was watching Lottie and that Matt and I were both able to get away for lunch for a little day date.
