TGATG #20

Boy oh boy it has been a week! There was a long season of my life where I worried about how I would fill my hours. I wondered what I would do at work or after work or on the weekend. I still get a little bit of this particular anxiety (a story for another day), but this week has been anything but. Every night when I have literally crawled into bed I have felt like I have completed a marathon. Each day has been incredibly full and 100mph.

Yesterday after work I came home to my mom watching Lottie. We packed up her car and drove home to Orlando and Matt would drive to meet us in Orlando on Friday after work. I woke up with a migraine and by then end of the day it was still very strong. I knew the drive might be a little tough as I typically get car sick espeically since I already had the mirgraine. Well the drive was awful. Thankfully the traffic was not bad, but Lottie did not want to be in her carseat. She screamed like I had never heard her cry before. I crawled into the backseat and tried to soothe her and gave her a bottle.

She finally fell asleep so I could doze off as well but the last twenty minutes of the drive were super rough when she woke back up. When we got home I wasn’t sure who was happier to be out of the car, me or her. I am so thankful that my mom was with us and she made me dinner while I took care of Lottie. It also made me so grateful that Lottie is typically a champ in the car and overall a super content baby.

Photo: A picture of Lottie very happy, and not in the car.
