TGATG #35

Here in Florida, we don’t exactly get to experience fall. And since I am a “September and October are fall” and “November and December are Christmas” girlie, it makes it a little tricky to really get into the fall spirit. It is more of a “fake it till you make it” kind of fall.

It’s funny because I was saying to Matt this weekend that the difference between 95 and 85 degrees is incredible. This weekend was so pleasant and I am enjoying every bit of it!

Lottie and I did some errands in Hyde Park this weekend. I had it timed so that I dropped Mitzie off at the groomer right after Lottie woke up from her first nap and took her bottle. I had the UppaBaby full of returns, the cupholder latched on, and the diaper bag loaded with all the things. We first stopped at BuddyBrew and I got an iced latte.

Next, we went in Madewell, and I actually found a pair of jeans that fit, are super comfortable, and look good! I ended up going with the Kick Out Crop in the color “black rinse wash” and in petite.

Then we went to Anthropologie, where I actually only did returns. I had purchased quite a few items online and needed to return the items that didn’t work. Also, by this time, Lottie was getting ready for her next nap, so I knew I didn’t have much time to peruse.

On our way out of Hyde Park, I got the text that Mitzie was ready to be picked up. A lot of times with a baby, outings just don’t work out. I will be too ambitious by trying to fit too much in to a wake window. Lottie is a super flexible baby, but of course she has her limits. This was one of those days where things just worked out, and I truly just had the best day with her. She’s my little bestie girl.

And of course Mitzie is too! As soon as we got home, she immediately tried to get her bow off. She eventually gave up and this was the result hahaha.
