I remember being a little girl and telling my mom I wanted to do something fun, something creative. I never knew exactly what I wanted to do; it was just a feeling I was after. Now here I am with a daughter of my own and I still have this craving for something creative in my life. I love hobbies and when I really get into something it is hard to pull me away from it. What sounds fun to me now is creating a corner of the internet for these things to live. A place of my favorite things. A place of JOY. 

For now, this is my online journal of things that bring me joy and a way to scrapbook this season of my life. But, if it can also bring you joy, that is even better. Let’s have some fun!

Here are some fun facts to get to know me:

1. I decided to keep my middle name (Leigh) when I got married. I love it so much that it is also my daughter’s middle name.
2. I have never seen a Harry Potter movie.
3. I am never barefoot. A total slipper in the house girl!
4. I don’t like Oreos.
5. Pink is my favorite color.
6. If I could choose to be talented at something I am not, it would be watercolor.
7. I love to read and always have.
